Review of HK's Socio-Economic Progress: A Quantitative Assessment
Drawing on different data and indicators, this project aimed at providing a comprehensive and quantitative review covering Hong Kong's economy, employment, health, social welfare, poverty, environment, governance and interface with the Mainland.
The project included time series and cross-sectional comparisons benchmarking Hong Kong against itself and, where possible, selected economies with a view to establishing a factual context for more informed discussion and debate.
The study was carried out with the assistance of TeamOne Economist Limited, and the findings can be found in the captioned report released in January 2007.
