The Bauhinia Foundation Research Centre will host an international conference on 17 January 2009, bringing together policymakers and leading international health policy experts. The Conference will provide a platform for relevant stakeholders to engage in interactive discussions and to explore a way forward for Hong Kong’s healthcare reform by making reference to overseas experiences. In particular, perspectives of WONCA, WHO, and NHS will enrich our deliberations as we forge ahead.
   
Amongst the conference speakers will be Professor Sian Griffiths, Director of School of Public Health and Chairman of Department of Community and Family Medicine (the Chinese University of Hong Kong); Dr Tony Jewell, Chief Medical Officer for Wales; Professor Nicholas Mays, Professor for Health Policy (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine); Dr Tang Shenglang, WHO (China Office) and Professor Chris van Weel, World President of WONCA.
 
ACCREDITATION
The Conference will be accredited for CME/CPD by the Academy Colleges of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine and CPD by the Occupational Therapists Board.
