  BACKGROUND

The Bauhinia Foundation Research Centre (BFRC) is pleased to present its Distinguished Lecture Series on Innovation, which will feature prominent speakers and innovation gurus from around the world. The lectures will be held from October 2009 to March 2010.

For leaders, encouraging people to think like entrepreneurs or "intrapreneurs" is often the key to maintaining a competitive edge. Kicking off the series will be Professor Tina Seelig, Executive Director of the Stanford Technology Ventures Program, USA. In her lecture on October 24, she will talk about innovation in existing organizations. Joining Professor Seelig in the discussions will be two young local CEOs (in their early 30s), who will share their personal experience in entrepreneurship.
