Whether mobile TV could be made viewable by households has become a hotly debated topic recently. In fact, using technology in market development has become a trend of the television broadcasting industry. The Centre’s weekly analysis examines the merger synergy and development trend of traditional TV broadcasters, mobile TV broadcasters and streaming media service suppliers in Mainland, with a view to pondering on ways to improve the policy and legal environment in Hong Kong in order to facilitate the development of the television and film industries.
