The Government will reportedly submit the study report on universal retirement protection to the Commission on Poverty shortly. Making reference to the experiences of Japan and New Zealand, the Centre’s weekly analysis looks into the financing and operating models of different universal pension schemes, and compares their gains and losses. Members of the public should consider how much we are willing to contribute to our retirement.
