The Government has put a great deal of effort into promoting electric vehicles (EVs). However, despite all these efforts, EVs are far from popular in Hong Kong. To understand the hurdles for EVs, the Centre’s weekly analysis reviews the availability of charging and parking facilities, and the role of EVs in the entire transport system, with a view to shedding light on its future development.
