Reducing salt and sugar intake may be a headache to sugary lovers, but with the increasing number of obesity, diabetes and other associated diseases, the Government has been alerted with the growing importance of public health and advocacy of healthy diet. This week, the Centre reviews the recent establishment of International Advisory Panel on Reduction of Dietary Sodium and Sugar in Hong Kong and related public health policy.
