Building up age-friendly communities



The number of elderly population aged 65 or above in Hong Kong will reach 2.56 million in 2041, the Government estimated. In other words, one out of every three people will be 65-plus by that time. Building up an age-friendly community will thus be important to foster a happy old age for our senior citizens. The Centre will look at examples of age-friendly communities across the world this week.
