At present, family members of organ donors have the right to refuse donation on behalf of the deceased donors. A survey finds that among 80 to 120 potential organ donors each year, 40-50% of their families tended to refuse to give consent for organ donation. To save the lives of others, what could be done to facilitate effective communication between donors and their family members?
