Mainland tourists may be busily planning their tours to Hong Kong during the coming the National Day. Meanwhile, the Government has proposed a set of measures to regulate local tourism. The Centre’s weekly analysis reviews the reform on the regulatory regime in the past and examines the impact of the suggested framework on small and medium-sized travel agents. It ponders whether the suggestions would stifle the development of in-depth tourism in the territory.
