One of Hong Kong’s roles in the Belt and Road Initiative is to share the extensive knowledge in transport infrastructure and services with countries along the new Silk Road. To seize the opportunities arising from the Initiative, Hong Kong may consider encouraging local vocational and professional education and training (VPET) graduates to explore career prospects in the Mainland, while attracting Mainland youngsters to come to Hong Kong and pursue VPET regarding the infrastructure project.
