To reduce the consumption of single-use plastics, people have been looking for alternatives that are considered to be relatively more environmentally-friendly, such as oxo-degradable plastic. However, to truly reduce the impact to nature, such alternatives require a host of complementary factors including waste sorting and standard setting.
