The dispute over classifying plant-based milk as ‘milk’

Plant-based milk starts expanding its presence in the milk beverage market amid the rising popularity of vegetarianism. However, some dairy milk producers complain that it is unfair to allow plant-based beverage to take advantage of the goodwill of milk they earned, while the plant-based milk producers criticise their counterparts for protectionism.
