The Pearl River Delta Metropolis Summit (Macau)

Date: 2010-04-22

Time: 9:00am - 4:30pm

Address:  Level 4, Grand Hall of Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre, Macau

As a follow-up on the high-level Bauhinia Summit in Hong Kong in January this year, the second part of the Pearl River Delta (PRD) Metropolis Summit will take place at the Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre on April 22 (Thursday) 2010.

The timing of this Summit in Macao is most opportune. To be held shortly after the recent framework agreement on Hong Kong-Guangdong cooperation, it will provide an excellent platform for senior Government officials, business leaders, academics and stakeholders in the region to share insights into the key issues of developing a world-class PRD metropolis comprising Hong Kong, Macao and the nine cities of Guangdong.

Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang; Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, Mr Wan Qingliang; and Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao SAR Government, Mr Francis Tam, will be addressing the Summit.
