Address:  1 Castle Peak Road, Gold Coast, Gold Coast Hotel

Why LEAP with the Bauhinia?

Leadership Excellence and Advancement Programme (LEAP) was an intensive leadership training programme organised by the Bauhinia Foundation Research Centre, from 3 July to 5 July, to provide local and overseas university students with the opportunities to better understand themselves, the community and leadership while building lasting connections with their peers or professional mentors from all walks of life.

Through distinguished talks, panel discussions, practical exercises, as well as self-reflection and networking sessions, the programme aimed to groom potential young leaders with vision and mission in pursuing their future career and sustaining Hong Kong’s long-term competitiveness.

Since our inception in 2006, the Centre has brought together talents from different sectors and sought to analyse the key factors that are crucial to fostering Hong Kong’s competitiveness and socioeconomic well being through policy research. The prestigious members of the Bauhinia’s network have become major contributors to this programme and played different roles in the programme.

Who can join?

Our goal was to constitute a high-calibre and diverse group of university students who are willing and able to make an investment – with both time and effort – in the development of themselves as well as the community at large.

50 elite university students from local and overseas universities were selected from more than 300 applications.
