Survey on public perceptions towards the rule of law in Hong Kong

The rule of law is the core value of Hong Kong society and an indispensable factor in maintaining the city’s long-term competitiveness. To gauge public views on the current situation of and perception changes in the rule of law in Hong Kong, the Centre has commissioned the CUHK to conduct the third round survey, which examines respondents’ opinions from five perspectives and 10 different aspects of the implementation of the rule of law.

Utilising public resources to expand SMEs’ participation in government procurement

The ‘Study on strategic policy to promote SMEs’ participation in government procurement’ analyses SMEs’ current opportunities and challenges arising from public procurement. With reference to practices in South Korea and the U.K., the Centre makes policy recommendations to generate more business opportunities for SMEs, and thus facilitating the sustainable growth of local economy and maintaining Hong Kong’s long-term competitiveness.
